How our quote & sourcing works

Specs, explained

Direct thermal labels(DT labels, Thermal labels, Ribbonless labels)
Labels printed by heating chemically coated paper directly, needing no ink or ribbon. Ideal for short-life uses like shipping labels, but the print fades over time. More
Thermal transfer labels(TT labels, Ribbon labels)
Labels printed by melting ink from a ribbon onto the label surface. The result is a durable, long-lasting image suited to product, asset and long-storage labelling. More

Labels — FAQs

What thermal labels work with my printer?
Direct thermal printers (e.g. many courier label printers) need direct thermal labels — no ribbon. Thermal transfer printers need transfer labels plus a ribbon. Check your printer type and label core size, or ask us and we'll match them.
Do you supply Fragile and handling labels?
Yes. We supply pre-printed handling labels including Fragile, This Way Up and Do Not Stack, plus blank rolls for custom messages.
Can I order custom printed labels?
Custom and branded labels are sourced made-to-order. Request a bulk quote with your size, material and artwork requirements.
